First batch of books for sale

I’ve listed a small number of classics books for sale on Amazon, though I should say that they all have their niche and are quite expensive books (though I’m offering them at a relatively steep discount). Other books of more general interest may be listed soon, though friends will get to pick through them before they’re offered online.

The books in this initial offering run the gamut from bilingual, individual volumes of various authors to a history of Rome written in Spanish. There’s even some neo-Latin poetry, and a BICS supplement on Aegean seals.

Here they are, in no particular order:

  • Aegean Seals: an introduction (BICS Supplement 85, 2005) by Olga Krzyszkowska
  • Strabons Geographika: Band 3, Buch IX–XIII: Text und Übersetzung, Herausgegeben von Stefan Radt (Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht, 2004)
  • Historia de Roma, by Pedro López Barja de Quiroga y Francisco Javier Lomas Salmonte (Akal Textos 31, 2004)
  • The Iuvenilia of Marc-Antoine Muret, with a translation, introduction, notes, and commentary by Kirk M. Summers (Ohio State, 2006)
  • Die Poetik des Aristoteles in der Dichtungstheorie des Cinquecento, by Brigitte Kappl (Walter de Gruyter, 2006)
  • Septimius Severus: Gestalten der Antike, by Jörg Spielvogel (WBG, 2006)
    1. Have a look at the store, and pass the information along to anyone whom you think may be interested. It sure would help through the lean summer months!
